Mr. Bardakjy taught Middle School History at GCS from 2010-2017 before becoming the Vice Principal. He received his B.A. degree in Middle Childhood Education (with specializations in Math and Social Studies) from Cedarville University in 2008. Before teaching, Mrs. Vanscyoc was a Signals Intelligence Analyst with the United States Army for 5 years. She received her B.A. degree in Psychology and Education from Roanoke College in 1996. Ms. Ray studied at Oklahoma Christian University with a double major in Elementary Education and French. She has taught in both public and private schools. Victoria recently moved from Florida where she earned her Florida State Certification in Elementary Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages. She moved to Maryland in 2016 to serve on the staff of Grace Christian School. One of the verses she loves in the Bible is Revelation 22:17, and someone she longs to talk to in Heaven is Enoch, who walked with God.

Mr. Yates played four years of collegiate soccer at the University of Maryland from 2006-10 and graduated with a B.A. in History. He was drafted in the second round of the 2010 MLS Superdraft by the Chicago Fire and played six years of professional soccer. He has served in various ministry positions ranging from helping to run community outreach programs in at risk neighborhoods in Charlotte, NC to directing soccer camps and clinics with Ambassadors Football, an organization that uses soccer to share the Gospel. 2017/2018 is his first year with GCS.
