INTERSCHOLASTIC SPORTS PROGRAM
(Only for Grades 6 - 8)

Students in grades six through eight may participate in the interscholastic sports program.  We offer students an active interscholastic sports program, the goal of which is to provide students with opportunities to learn major lessons in character (self discipline, commitment, fairness, etc.) as well as to provide a vehicle for interaction and testimony to other students and schools. Athletics also provides a wholesome release for youthful energy.

Grace Christian School requires that every student athlete provide a signed and dated physical form and sports permission form to the Athletic Director before paticipation in any sport. This physical is to be performed yearly by the family physician in an effort to make coaches aware of past injuries or illnesses that may specifically affect the athlete on the field of play.

Fall:  boys’ soccer, girls’ volleyball, cheerleading

Winter:  boys’ and girls’ basketball, cheerleading

Spring:  boys’ baseball, girls’ soccer, track and field for both boys and girls

We are a member of the Maryland Association of Christian Schools Athletic Conference (MACSAC).  The students play schools from around the state of Maryland.
