Elementary students have the opportunity to engage in a deeper appreciation for books and reading through weekly visits to our library, which houses over 16,000 resources. During designated times, middle school students are welcome to visit the library to read for pleasure or to check out sources for projects and assignments. GCS holds a Scholastic Book Fair every December, giving the students an opportunity to shop for engaging books that pique their interest. Additionally, our librarian organizes a reading competition each spring among the staff and student body. Each team keeps track of the minutes they read and the winning team wins a prize!
