Students are given the opportunity to build lifelong communication skills and confidence by preparing and presenting speeches in regular club meetings.
Middle School Student Leadership Council
Membership is by invitation only for 7th and 8th grade students who demonstrate leadership ability.
Odyssey of the Mind Club
Students in grades 3-5 participate in this international creativity competition club. Several teams of 5-7 students lead by a teacher or parent coach, decide upon a challenge to address. Some are theatrical, technical or both. They write their own plays, create scenery, props, build structures and vehicles, and then address the challenge as creatively as possible.
Cyber Robotics Coding Club
GCS Coding Club prepares the students in grades 5-8 for the Cyber Robotics Coding Competition, an exciting and fun event for students to learn about STEM, coding, robotics and technology career paths. CRCC enables schools and districts to engage students through technology they are comfortable with while developing STEM awareness.
