Art is an integral part of the GCS curriculum. All K-5 elementary students have a biblically-integrated Art class where they explore creativity using various techniques and skills. Students learn to use markers, crayons, colored pencils, paints, and chalk to create masterpieces. Visual and fine motor skills are developed as they learn how to express themselves. Students also learn about art history and how to mimic styles of various eras. In the middle school, Art is offered as an elective.
