Middle School

Our 6th-8th grade Middle School program is constructed to prepare students for high school while also meeting their individual needs during this stage of change and transition.   The teachers have been professionally trained in teaching students at the middle school level and specialize in their subject area.  Furthermore, the teachers work as a cohesive unit by implementing universal routines and procedures, therefore making the transition to middle school as seamless as possible.

A life characterized by integrity, diligence, and respect is what our middle school staff seeks to produce and foster in our students.  A Biblical worldview is integrated into all subjects.  In addition, students participate in a graded Bible class that is incorporated into the curriculum and in weekly chapels.

Since Grace Christian School is fully accredited through MSA, both public and private high schools recognize GCS course credits.  Most notably, all 8th grade GCS students graduate with credit in Spanish 1 and Algebra 1.   In addition to the core subjects of Math, Language Arts, Science, History, Spanish, and Bible, students have the opportunity to be involved in other specialized areas such as Art, Choir, Band, Physical Education, and Computer/Technology classes.   Our 8th grade graduates leave GCS prepared academically for high school and with a firm biblical foundation to face a new set of challenges.
